What the Coronavirus Pandemic Means for the Future of Higher Education
Are you feeling stressed about what the coronavirus means for high school juniors and seniors? There’s definitely a lot going on and so much is in flux.

And since then, the University of California system has also gone test optional, which is pretty incredible. Their leadership had been debating that move before the virus hit, and apparently the virus has forced their hand.
They say it’s only a temporary measure, but it will be very interesting to see if they stick with it beyond the next year! They’re also not requiring a letter grade for 15 required courses, which means you don’t have to stress if your high school classes are switching to pass/fail.
It’s just one more example of how colleges are doing everything they can to accommodate you during this very wonky semester and beyond. Remember that they want you to apply, and they want you to succeed!
